Technology Systems Update

Northern Counties Health Care recently identified a cybersecurity incident affecting portions of its technology environment. Upon discovering the incident, NCHC immediately took steps to secure its systems and engaged cybersecurity specialists to investigate the incident and safely restore affected systems.

NCHC remains open and continues to provide patient care. Patients may experience minor delays or temporary inconveniences as teams work through certain system limitations.

Our investigation is early and ongoing. We are confident the identified vulnerability has been contained and remediated. We continue to closely monitor our systems for any unusual activity.

NCHC takes the privacy and security of our patients’ information very seriously. We are continuing to carefully assess the situation with the support of cybersecurity experts and will share additional information as we have a clearer understanding of the incident and its impact.
