Northern Counties Health Care is participating with the University of New England’s Preceptor program. All NCHC dentist have attended training in order to qualify as adjunct faculty with UNE. Our dentists have been trained to critically evaluate the Extern’s methods of clinical practice, integrate evidence-based medicine into patient care, demonstrate an understanding of research methods, and improve patient care practices.
Our dental centers went through a rigorous evaluation for infection control methods and documentation of policies and procedures.
The NCHC dentists support students in their 4th year of graduate school of dental medicine. They promote high standards of care and compassion and provide a learner-centered approach for clinical teaching in the community-based setting and effective chair-side teaching.
