Charlie loves to be outdoors and can be found hiking, cycling, running and gardening. She balances these outdoor passions with reading and yoga. Charlie is a 200 hour certified yoga instructor.
Ursula “Charlie” Charlton received her bachelor of science in Criminal Justice from American University and several years later earned her master’s in that same field at State University of New York Albany. Charlie worked in the field of corrections for approximately 17 years with focus on provision of treatment services as well as program planning and implementation. She left this first career as a Deputy Warden of Treatment at Maine State Prison. Charlie’s tenure as a Behavioral Health Provider began in Bath, Maine and continued in Colorado Springs. At Northern Counties Health Care, she has previously served as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Hardwick Area Health Center, and as a Medcial Social Worker at Caledonia Home Health Care & Hospice. Now she looks forward to joining the team at the Danville Health Center.
