Dr. Kraus was raised just outside of Boston by immigrant parents. Her mother and both grandfathers were physicians as well. After residency, she and her husband spent a year working and trekking in Nepal. They then settled in Vermont and she has been in the same practice for over 20 years. She is particularly interested in treating chronic illnesses, providing preventative care, and quality improvement. She provides medically assisted treatment for opiate addiction. Dr. Kraus lives in Danville with her husband Tom, and has sent two children off to college. She is an avid gardener and prefers to be outside, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, running, or mountain biking.
