What would you like to tell us about your profession?
My career in Nursing and Health Care Management has provided me with the opportunity to learn the many aspects of health care. My expertise has been working in communities, learning the gaps in, services, and implementing creative ways to solve problems. One example of this was staffing a mobile health van with providers and community health workers to assist people with health care access.
Why did you decide to serve on our Board of Directors?
I have been a happy patient at NCHC for 20 years, as well as a community partner. I totally support their mission and want to be part of the team moving health care into the future.
What interests or hobbies do you have?
I enjoy walking my adorable dog, Maggie, staying active, attending book groups, traveling, and spending time with family.
What advice would you give prospective Board Members?
I would recommend that prospective Board Members come prepared to learn and to work!
