What would you like to tell us about your profession?
I have been involved in healthcare finance for over 23 years. I have worked for hospitals in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont for all of the 23 years in managing and directing the activities of accounting and financial reporting.
Why did you decide to serve on our Board of Directors?
I felt that, although retired from hospital finance work, I could still offer something to the healthcare community. We use the health and dental services of Northern Counties as well and I appreciate being in a position to help guide the direction of this organization.
What interests or hobbies do you have?
I love to cook new recipes, I am an active gardener, and a canner. I love to share what I have made as well!
What advice would you give prospective Board Members?
This is a very active and engaged board. I would recommend that prospective members look carefully at what you can bring to the table and at whether you can commit to the necessary involvement.
