Dr. Raser was raised in San Diego County and came to New England for college. After serving in AmeriCorps he returned for medical school and residency training. Upon graduation he spent seven years as residency faculty focusing on community medicine, and received training at the Kraft Center for Community Health Leadership in Boston. He served as Medical Director of the Lawrence Head Start and on the city Board of Health. Here in the NEK he serves on the town bike/peds committee. He speaks Spanish and volunteers at local farms for the UVM migrant health program. He lives in St. J with his wife Amanda and three kids. He is passionate about building our community to support health for all ages. Look for him biking to clinic or school with his kids, gardening in his yard, hiking or biking a trail in the woods, or dancing at local concerts.
