What would you like to tell us about your profession?
I am an admissions counselor for Northern Vermont University. I recruit students for the university, help them through the admissions process, and am a support as they begin their college journey.
Why did you decide to serve on our Board of Directors?
Prior to working for the university, I worked for RuralEdge, a low income affordable housing organization. I’ve seen firsthand how lack of healthcare becomes part of the ripple effect of poverty. It’s part of my passion to try to end poverty in our communities which I feel aligns with NCHC.
What interests or hobbies do you have?
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, hike, participate in community theater, and participate in community engagement events and projects.
What are you most excited to learn about through NCHC Board service?
I am most excited to learn about the impact NCHC has on our community, and what the board is working toward to expand that impact.
