Behavioral Health Services

Behavioral health services are offered as part of medical treatment at our health centers. Our behavioral health providers are licensed mental health professionals. Services include short-term counseling to help with:

If you need to see a counselor long term to better cope with life problems, we will help by referring you to other community resources and/or services.
Behavioral health providers do not provide the following services:

Confidentiality: The Behavioral Health Program is part of Northern Counties Health Care, Inc. We provide you with privacy practices as required by law. The behavioral health provider works with your medical provider as a team to provide you with complete care. Any behavioral health notes become part of the regular medical record and may be given to other parties with your written authorization. Anything we talk about is confidential except as the law provides. Healthcare providers are required by law to report suspected child or elder abuse, or intent to harm self or others.

No Show Policy: Patients who do not keep appointments and do not call in advance to cancel or reschedule may lose their right to make advance appointments.
