Adult Nurse Practitioner at Concord Health Center, has been a practicing nurse since 1974 with 12 years experience working as a Certified Emergency Nurse in Philadelphia, PA. Susan received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from College Misericordia, in Dallas, PA, and in 1990, her Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Susan is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Adult Primary Care and is a certified Meditation instructor. Along with providing primary care at the Concord Health Center, she is the clinical coordinator of the Comprehensive Care Clinic in St. Johnsbury, a satellite clinic of the Fletcher Allen Medical Center/UVM Infectious Diseases Unit. Susan is particularly interested in health promotion/disease prevention, health risk reduction, addiction and smoking cessation and avoidance, stress management, and adult and geriatric chronic illness. Susan is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Vermont, School of Nursing and frequently serves as preceptor for Nurse practitioner students. She lives in St. Johnsbury and was a charter member of the Board of Directors of the Northeastern Vermont Area Health Education Center (AHEC).
