Physician at St. Johnsbury Community Health Center, attended Brown University where she received her BA in Comparative Literature. Dana received her medical degree from the Dartmouth College School of Medicine and served her Internship and Residency at Oregon Health Science University. Dana is Board Certified in Family Practice and credentialed to practice Family Medicine. She is particularly interested in Women’s Health Issues and Patient Education, and is considered an expert on Diabetes care. Dr. Kraus has been very involved in the Blueprint for Heath, and the Chronic Care team, in a state wide attempt to improve the care of patients with chronic disease, and to improve preventative care. Dana lives in Danville with her husband Tom, a middle school science teacher, and her two teenage children. She is an avid gardener and prefers to be outside, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, running, or mountain biking.
